How he works

One millilitre. Then we look again in three months.

Krystian came to aesthetics from the NHS, and trained further in the UK and Poland. Seven years and counting on the clinical side, where the habit that governs everything at Skin Aesthetics was learned long before he ever held a syringe in a private room. He starts with the face you already have, maps where it has changed, and treats only the muscle or volume that is actually driving it. The patients who have been seeing him for four and five years will tell you he has never moved off it. The treatment menu has stayed small on purpose: six considered procedures, refined to muscle memory. Everything else, he refers on.

He turns away a steady stream of patients who arrive asking for three millilitres. He will give you one, and then look at it three months later and decide with you whether to give you another. The whole practice is built around what he calls "softened, never frozen". If you can tell, it has been done too much. The room came to him already trusting that limit, because most of the room was referred by another patient who had walked out with one less procedure than they walked in for. It is the single hardest part of the work, and the single most important.

The treatment room at Skin Aesthetics by Krystian
The room he works in

One room. On the water in Bursledon, since 2019.

The clinic runs out of one Southampton room, small on purpose, on the water in Bursledon at 15 Old Bridge Cl, SO31 8AX. One chair, one practitioner, the full treatment menu, the same skin journal that has followed patients since 2019.

Most patients are referred by other patients, so the door is rarely on a street. A handful drive three hours each way and say they would still come if it moved. Free on-site parking. Step-free access. Minutes from M27 junction 8.

The business partner

Steven King. The partner who keeps the room quiet.

Steven joined Krystian as business partner so the clinical side could stay singularly focused. He looks after the academy intake, supply chain, partnerships and the operational architecture of the practice. That is the work that keeps the chair free to do its real job.

Steven handles the parts of the business that need a partner, not a practitioner. Krystian sees the face. Steven holds the long-term plan, the academy curriculum and the patient operations, so Krystian can give every patient the room's full attention.

Why they built this

Bursledon, 2019.

Krystian opened the original room in 2019, on the water in Bursledon, with a small list of patients carried over from the NHS years. The model from the first day was the model now: one chair, one practitioner, by appointment, small menu, long relationship.

Nothing about the practice was advertised in any conventional sense. Patients told other patients. The list filled, then it had a waiting list. Five years in, the clinic took 2nd Place nationally for Best for Aesthetics at the 2024 UK Hair & Beauty Awards.

The practice is still small on purpose. The award did not change the menu, the room size, the consultation length or the limit Krystian draws on every face. The same one room, the same single practitioner, the same skin journal. That is all.

Considered questions

About Krystian, asked often.

The five questions patients and other practitioners ask most often about Krystian, the practice and the credentials behind both.

Is Krystian Woloszyk a qualified aesthetic practitioner?

Yes. Krystian Woloszyk is a Level 7 advanced practitioner with five years' experience in the NHS who trained in the UK and Poland and holds master's-equivalent clinical credentials. He is insured with Cathedral Insurance and is now an educator and tutor at a-Training, a UK aesthetics training academy. He has been practising aesthetics since 2019 and took 2nd Place nationally at the 2024 UK Hair and Beauty Awards in the Best for Aesthetics category.

How long has Krystian been doing aesthetics in Southampton?

Krystian founded Skin Aesthetics by Krystian in 2019, on the water in Bursledon, Southampton. Before that he spent five years in NHS clinical practice. The Southampton clinic has run continuously since 2019 from the same Bursledon room at 15 Old Bridge Cl, SO31 8AX.

Where did Krystian train?

Krystian trained in aesthetics in both the UK and Poland, with five years of NHS experience underpinning the work. He holds Level 7, master's-equivalent clinical credentials as an advanced practitioner, and he now teaches the next generation of practitioners as an educator and tutor at a-Training, a UK aesthetics training academy.

What does master's-equivalent clinical credentials mean?

Master's-equivalent describes a UK clinical training pathway assessed at Level 7 on the regulated qualifications framework, the same academic level as a master's degree. It signifies postgraduate clinical depth without being a taught master's degree in aesthetic medicine specifically. It is the level Krystian now teaches at as a tutor at a-Training.

Who owns Skin Aesthetics by Krystian?

The practice trades as Skin Aesthetics and Academy Ltd. Krystian Woloszyk is founder and lead clinician. Steven King is the business partner who runs the operational, supply-chain and academy-intake side, so the clinical side stays singularly focused. Patients almost never deal with Steven directly, by design.
