What it is

A small dose. In the right muscle.

Anti-wrinkle injections soften the muscles that pull the skin into a line. Forehead, frown, crow's-feet. The technique we use leaves enough movement that the result reads as you, not as something done to you.

The work is in the read, not the dose. Two practitioners with the same product can produce visibly different results. The decision Krystian is making at every point is depth, position, and amount, in that order. The dose is the last thing on his mind.

Most of our patients come in for a forehead refresh and leave with their crow's-feet treated instead. Almost everyone comes back in three months and tells us it was right.

Who this is for. Adults 18+ who want the lines softened, not erased. Most of our patients are between thirty-two and sixty-five, often returning every three to four months. The treatment is suited to anyone with realistic expectations who reads the result as a refinement rather than a transformation. The patients who do best with anti-wrinkle are the ones who can articulate what bothers them in a photograph rather than describe a face they want to look like.

Who this is not for. Anyone with a neuromuscular condition such as myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome, anyone currently pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone with an active facial infection, anyone with a history of adverse reaction to botulinum toxin, and anyone whose expectation is total stillness. Krystian will refuse the treatment in any of those cases. He will also defer it if he reads the consultation as someone presenting in distress rather than someone making a considered decision. The deferral is the most underrated act of clinical judgement in this category.

The considered version

Three things we read first.

Before any dose, before any decision, before the product comes out of the fridge.

i.

Movement at rest

How your face sits when you're not thinking about it. The asymmetries you can't see. We photograph this at the same angle every visit.

ii.

Movement on activation

Frown, raise, smile. Which muscles overwork. Which ones the rest of the face is leaning on. Almost always, treating one re-balances three.

iii.

What you actually want

The version of the result that's about you, not the version that's about Instagram. We ask. We listen. We almost always recommend less.

iv.

How you photograph

People present differently to a camera than to a mirror. We take three reference frames at consultation, neutral, smile and frown, and re-photograph at every visit. The face you read in the mirror is not the face the room reads back. The plan is built for both.

v.

What you've already had elsewhere

Some patients arrive asking for a top-up. We'll often refuse. If a previous practitioner has over-treated the forehead, the right answer is usually to wait it out, not to chase it. We will tell you that honestly, even if it costs us the appointment.

The appointment

Forty-five quiet minutes, end to end.

What to expect from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave.

00:00

Arrival and consent

A cup of tea, a brief written form, the consent walkthrough. We re-photograph at the same angles every visit. Krystian asks what's changed since last time.

00:10

The read

Five to ten minutes of mapping the face, mirror in hand. You'll see what Krystian sees. The plan is agreed before any product is opened.

00:20

The injection

Quick. Three to twelve precise points, depending on the plan. Most patients describe it as pressure rather than pain. The needle is the smallest gauge in clinical use.

00:35

Aftercare brief

Avoid lying flat, exercise, alcohol or heat for 24 hours. We'll text you at day seven and day fourteen to read the result with you. Re-book if you want, no pressure if you don't.

Day 7

Text-message review

A short text from Krystian asking how the result is reading. Most patients are softening visibly by day five and fully settled by day fourteen. If you want to send a photograph, we'll read it against the consultation reference. If an adjustment is warranted, we book it complimentary in the week-two window. No upsell, no chase.

Considered questions

The honest version.

The questions every patient is too polite to ask out loud. Read at your pace.

Will it look frozen?

No. The entire practice is built around the opposite. We dose to soften, not to stop. If you can tell, it's been done too much. Most of our patients are repeatedly told they look well rather than asked what they've had done.

Does it hurt?

Most patients describe it as a quick pressure rather than pain. The needle gauge is the smallest in clinical use. You won't need a numbing cream for the forehead or crow's-feet. We use ice for around the mouth if requested.

When will I see the result?

Three to five days for the first softening. Full result at fourteen days. We text you at day seven and day fourteen to read it with you. If it needs a small adjustment, that's done complimentary in the same appointment window.

How often will I need to come back?

Every three to four months for most patients. Most of our standing patients are on a quarterly rhythm. Some of our longest patients have slowed to twice a year because the lines no longer set as deeply.

Where can I see the pricing?

On Fresha. We keep it in one place so it's always current. The reserve-your-consultation button on this page takes you there.
